My trip to Salisbury - Meeting the Salisbury Writing Circle!
On Wednesday I visited the Salisbury to chat with writer and teacher, Tom Bromley, and the Salisbury Writing Circle at Sarum College. Which was a great success before the session even started because my ancient car didn’t break down on the way there!
Sarum College is a beautiful old building opposite the wonderful Salisbury Cathedral. I haven't been to Salisbury for years and I really enjoyed wandering the city centre before. I also stopped by Salisbury Waterstones and signed their copies of The Dinner Lady Detectives.
I had a lovely time joining in with the writing workshop and then chatting with Tom, we spoke about my publishing journey, my first book and the upcoming sequels and then I signed books. It was so lovely to meet everyone, and they all made me feel really welcome.
A big thank you to Tom for having me, and to Sarum College for hosting!
The group is free to all to attend and meets once a month. Tom Bromley teaches creative writing with Faber Academy and is the director of fiction for the professional writing academy.
